Ek-Duniya — the local language content hosting and communication platform for non-profit organisations, primarily, in South Asia.

Ek-Duniya provides a holistic framework for building bi-lingual, dynamic websites, local language content hosting and web publishing through a simple web interface, as well as making available tools for communication. The objectives of deploying Ek-Duniya are:

• To improve the flow of information at the grassroots and help in greater
• To ensure transparency, better governance and maximizing the impact of development work
• To enhance the use of ICTs as strategic communication tools, especially in Indic languages
• To enable civil society organisations to have quality web presence
• To build an online community of NGOs in South Asia, using the power of Internet to reinforce their grassroots activities
